Diagnostics
How a technician diagnoses it
Our technicians follow the factory diagnostic path for this fault.
- 1The hotcupboard does not draw heat from the parent AGA and is not on the eR7 electronic control — it has its own elements, preset thermostat and limit thermostat.
- 2Element access: remove the cast-iron dividing shelf, lift the rear grid upwards, remove the two element screws and pull the element to the right to expose the connections.
- 3Thermostat, overheat thermostat and switch assembly access: remove the four chrome buttons and stay nuts and prop the top plate, taking care to avoid enamel damage.
- 4Normal behaviour: from cold, approximately 40 minutes to a stabilised temperature.
