Diagnostics

How a technician diagnoses it

Our technicians follow the factory diagnostic path for this fault.

  1. 1Check both upper and lower spray arms move freely before starting a cycle.
  2. 2Clean the spray arms per the owner's guide procedure.
  3. 3Clean the filters.
  4. 4Check water hardness: if unknown, use 15 ml / 3 tsp of detergent. Increase if white marks appear on glassware. Get local hardness in grains per gallon or ppm from the water supplier and set the hardness level accordingly.
  5. 5Check rinse agent and salt indicators (salt on models with a salt container).
  6. 6If mechanical checks pass, test the circulation pump and heating element.
