Diagnostics
How a technician diagnoses it
Our technicians follow the factory diagnostic path for this fault.
- 1Check both upper and lower spray arms move freely before starting a cycle.
- 2Clean the spray arms per the owner's guide procedure.
- 3Clean the filters.
- 4Check water hardness: if unknown, use 15 ml / 3 tsp of detergent. Increase if white marks appear on glassware. Get local hardness in grains per gallon or ppm from the water supplier and set the hardness level accordingly.
- 5Check rinse agent and salt indicators (salt on models with a salt container).
- 6If mechanical checks pass, test the circulation pump and heating element.
