Diagnostics

How a technician diagnoses it

Our technicians follow the factory diagnostic path for this fault.

  1. 1Clean the filters — the owner's guide has a dedicated 'Cleaning the Filters' procedure and this is the first check.
  2. 2Cancel-cycle behaviour for reference: press and hold Program Selection/Cancel for 3 seconds, 3-2-1 counts down, 0:01 displays, close the door and draining completes in about 2 minutes with a beep.
  3. 3Check the drain hose routing, high loop and air gap.
  4. 4Inspect and clear the drain pump.
  5. 5This is a Middleby Residential / Viking platform — use Viking-platform service data for pump testing and fault codes.
